Children’s Yoga & Mindfulness
The SPOGA Method
This workshop is a playful, heart-centered space when children ages 4-10 can explore movement, breath, creativity, and connection. It’s designed to help kids build emotional awareness, self-regulation, and confidence - all through developmentally appropriate practices that feel more like fun than work.
Rooted in my background as a licensed speech-language pathologist and mindfulness educator, this offering blends yoga-inspired movement, breathing games, guided visualization, and story-telling to support whole-child wellness. Children will practice tuning into their bodies, noticing their emotions, and expressing themselves in a way that’s both safe and empowering.
This class is especially helpful for children who benefit from extra support with:
Emotional regulation
Focus and attention
Social communication, connection, and turn taking
Transitions, and managing high stress or anxiety
No prior experience with yoga or mindfulness is needed - just a willingness to move, breathe, and explore. Whether your child is new to these practices, or has attended before, they’ll leave feeling more grounded, calm, and connected - to themselves and to others. Class time is 45 minutes, with a 15 minute discussion period for parents + free play for children. Your registration is for one parent + one child - and you can choose to stay nearby. or quietly observe, depending on the comfort level of your child.
